I knew from a young age that my calling in life was to help people through health care and I have been lucky to have a career in nursing for the past seventeen years. After being awarded Nursing Scholar status, I was accepted to University of Missouri-Columbia. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
After graduation, I completed a Critical Care Nurse Fellowship in Kansas City, Missouri. I spent ten years in the Surgical / Trauma/ Neurological Adult Intensive Care Unit as both a Clinical Staff Nurse and a Charge Nurse. I was an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Instructor and Trauma Nurse Core Course certified. I became certified by the American Society of Critical Care Nurses with the distinguished Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) designation.
After having four children, I transitioned into caring for critically ill neonates in a level III NICU in Kansas City. I also attended deliveries and was responsible for the resuscitation of neonates in the immediate newborn period in collaboration with the neonatal nurse practitioner. I am certified as a Neonatal Resuscitation Provider. I also obtained RNC Certification in Low Risk Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-LRN) through the National Certification Corporation.
Life then brought me to the Cleveland, Ohio area where I eventually found my home at The Becker Law Firm. I am excited to have the opportunity to now use my extensive clinical expertise to continue to help people in a different way. I was drawn to The Becker Law Firm because of their unyielding commitment to justice for their clients, regardless of how challenging the case may be. I am honored to be collaborating with attorneys that possess the experience, knowledge, and resources that set the foundation for success for each of our clients.
In my spare time, you are likely to find me in the stands at a basketball or baseball game watching my children do what they love to do. My husband and I enjoy spending time together on the golf course and getting inspiration for our next house project on HGTV.
