We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a deep understanding of litigation procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in managing and organizing case files, including electronic and physical documents.
• Maintain and update case calendars, deadlines, and court schedules.
• Draft, format and proofread case-related documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
• Electronic, timely filing of legal documents.
• Assemble and organize exhibits and evidence for trial or hearings.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and experts.
• Provide general administrative assistance, such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
• Assist with travel arrangements for attorneys, clients and experts when necessary.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with court rules and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.

Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court rules, and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role within a litigation practice is highly desirable.
