Kristin E. Weinberg
I am a former practicing attorney with over 18 years of legal experience that I use to assist The Becker Law Firm as a Case Manager.
After earning my undergraduate degree from Notre Dame, I attended the University of Miami School of Law, where I earned my Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 2000. While I entered law school with hopes of practicing environmental law, I began my legal career with an insurance defense litigation firm. From there, I worked as an attorney in the business litigation department of a large civil trial practice, where I specialized in complex telecommunications law, trademark disputes, and contract enforcement litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts.
After working full-time as a trial lawyer, I made the decision to scale back my hours and spend time with my growing family. I worked part-time for an attorney who had been my mentor at his boutique practice and continued to work for him remotely after moving from St. Louis to Cleveland until he was confirmed as a U.S. District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Missouri.
I now have the good fortune to be working at The Becker Law Firm as a Case Manager, where I draw from my experience as lawyer to assist our attorneys in advocating for serious injury, medical malpractice, and birth injury victims.
While Shaker Heights, Ohio, is now my home, I have previously called Missouri, Illinois, New York, Kentucky, and Alabama home. I am mom to two sets of twins – one boy and three girls. In my spare time, I teach group exercise classes, volunteer at my children’s school, drive my children to and from practices, cheer them on at soccer games, and try to read books.
