Attorney Profile
I am a trial attorney at The Becker Law Firm, where I represent individuals and families in complex medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases. I graduated at the top of my class from The University of Akron School of Law in December 2025, earning both my Juris Doctor and a Certificate in Litigation. Upon graduation, I was honored to receive the Miller Becker Award for Exceptional Student Professionalism.
During law school, I competed as a member of the Akron Law Trial Team and served as Secretary of the University of Akron Health Law Society. I also received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for achieving the highest grade in several courses, including Torts, Legal Research and Writing, Evidence, Legislation Regulation, Professional Responsibility, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and Wills, Trusts and Estates.
Before entering the legal profession, I spent eight years as a registered nurse caring for critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a large urban hospital system. During my nursing career, I earned a Master of Science in Nursing Education and held several leadership positions, including Neonatal ICU Education Coordinator, Chair of a hospital-wide nursing committee for night-shift nurses, and a longtime member of the hospital’s Professional Practice Council. I was recognized with the Outstanding Achievement in Nursing Education and Professional Practice Award and received a national DAISY Award for extraordinary advocacy on behalf of a critically ill newborn with congenital glaucoma.
My clinical background brings a unique perspective to my legal practice, particularly in cases involving complex medical issues. I draw on my years of bedside nursing experience and trial advocacy training to understand the medicine at the heart of each case, while never losing sight of the profound impact medical injuries can have on patients and their families.
Outside of my practice, I am a proud and busy mom of two boys. My family enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and exploring campgrounds throughout Ohio. I also enjoy reading, attending concerts, and watching just about anything sports-related.
