Attorney Profile
I graduated summa cum laude from Notre Dame College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and began my career as a Registered Nurse. I spent eight years at the bedside in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at a large urban hospital system. While practicing as a nurse, I obtained my Master of Science in Nursing Education and took on several leadership roles, serving as the Neonatal ICU Education Coordinator, Chair of a hospital-wide nursing committee for nightshift nurses, and long-time member of the hospital’s Professional Practice Council. I was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Nursing Education and Professional Practice Award, and the National Nurse DAISY Award for exemplifying extraordinary advocacy for a critically ill newborn with congenital glaucoma.
My time as a Registered Nurse, along with my inspiring patients, led me back to school once more. I am currently attending the University of Akron School of Law and expect to receive my Juris Doctor and Litigation Certificate in 2025. I have previously served as the Secretary of the University of Akron Health Law Society, and I am a member of the University of Akron School of Law Trial Team. I have been honored to receive the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in several courses, including Torts, Legal Research and Writing, Evidence, Professional Responsibility, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and Wills, Trusts and Estates. I am excited to transition from legal nurse to trial lawyer at The Becker Law Firm upon my graduation.
I am a proud, busy mom of two boys, and our family loves to travel and explore the outdoors at different campgrounds throughout Ohio. I also enjoy reading, watching anything sports-related and going to concerts.
