Joseph Flannery
Attorney
I am a native of Cleveland and am proud to have the opportunity to represent people in my own community.
I received a physics degree from Case Western Reserve University in 2015. Soon after, I attended The University of Texas School of Law where I received my Juris Doctor degree in 2018.
During law school, I spent my time learning how to advocate on behalf of others. I served as a notes editor on The Review of Litigation and competed as a member of the Interscholastic Trial Team. My experience on the trial team allowed me to hone my advocacy skills in courtrooms across the country. While competing, I received awards for being the top courtroom advocate at the American Association for Justice Regional Competition and the Costello National Trial Advocacy Competition.
Upon graduating from law school, I was inducted into The Order of Barristers, a group of the top advocates from law schools across the country, and received the Niemann Cup, an award given to the best advocate in the graduating class at The University of Texas. Today, I teach advocacy skills to young men and women at Case Western Reserve University as coach of their mock trial team.
